It’s decided we’re back to the Royal Pavilion Gardens 🏰

As a reminder for this August’s Meet-Up, neither Betty or myself will be available to host.

However you all know the drill by now:

  1. 👋 Welcome and introduce any new comers
  2. 📸 Snap some photos during the session
  3. 🖼️ Pick a good open spot for the throw-down and group photo
  4. ☀️ And with a heatwave coming, bring along: Water, Hat and Sun-lotion.

I am back for Hosting & Organising September’s Meet-Up which will be a sunset session like last years 🌅

Have a great time painting! 🧑‍🎨

How it Works

The Brighton Painting Group gathers every 3rd Saturday of the month to paint together at various scenic spots in and around Brighton. The group’s location for each meet-up changes monthly, offering a fresh environment each time. Here’s how the planning process works:

  1. 🎨 3rd Saturday Meet-Up: This date is fixed every month, so members always know when the next painting day will be.
  2. 📍 Location Suggestions (4th Week): During the fourth week of the month, we open up a call for location suggestions from group members.
  3. 🗳️ Location Poll (Following Weekend): That weekend, we conduct a poll based on the suggested locations, allowing everyone to vote on where they’d like to paint next.
  4. 📢 Announcement: By the end of the poll weekend, the winning location is announced, setting the stage for the next month’s meet-up.

This process keeps our meet-ups engaging and member-driven, and it ensures the location is chosen about three weeks before each session.
